In a new ‘SNL’ commercial, Lil Baby gets mistaken for ‘Little Babies.’
This weekend (Jan. 28), Michael B. Jordan will make his hosting debut on Saturday Night Live, with Lil Baby serving as musical guest.
In a new preview for the program, though, SNL favorite Heidi Gardner appeared perplexed when the Black Panther actor introduced the artist. “What? No way! Where? Gardner said, “I adore small babies!” before Lil Baby corrected him.
“You see how it may be confusing?” the comic responds to the rapper.
Gardner invites Jordan to be her Valentine in another scene, as Valentine’s Day is approaching in a few weeks. When the SAG Award winner waited too long to decide, Lil Baby volunteered to be the SNL cast member’s Valentine. “If you sleep, you lose,” Gardner says to Jordan.
Saturday Night Live airs live on NBC every Saturday at 11:30 p.m. ET/8:30 p.m. PT. Those without cable may watch the program on NBC’s streaming service, Peacock, which you can join up for here. A Peacock account also grants viewers on-demand access to prior SNL programs.
