“Do It Again,” by Philadelphia rapper-songwriter 2Rare and NLE Choppa, debuts at No. 96 on the Billboard Hot 100 list (dated Feb. 4).
According to Luminate, the song, which was released on October 7 by NLE Choppa/Warner Records, debuted with 12.9 million radio airplay audience impressions (up 11%) and 3.4 million U.S. streams (up 7%) in the Jan. 20-26 tracking week. It also climbs 24-20 on the multimetric Hot Rap Songs chart and 44-38 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs list. It also climbs 12-9 in Rap Airplay, 16-12 in Mainstream R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay, 15-13 in Rhythmic Airplay, and 16-14 in R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay.
“Do It Again” includes a sample of Rose Royce’s song “Love Don’t Live Here Anymore,” which peaked at No. 32 on the Billboard Hot 100 in February 1979.

TikTok has played a significant role in the song’s popularity, with a piece of the music appearing in over 220,000 videos on the platform. The song also serves as the music for the app’s #doitagainchallenge. (TikTok does not appear on Billboard’s charts.) It has also sparked interest in “sped up” and “slowed down” variants. NLE Choppa has almost 14 million Instagram followers, whereas 2Rare has 1 million.
Before “Do It Again,” 2Rare had not charted a song on Billboard’s charts. NLE Choppa’s 10th Hot 100 entry is his first since “Shotta Flow 6” in February 2022.
Despite his first charting success, “Do It Again,” 2Rare has recorded other singles, including “Q-Pid” with Lil Durk and “Dump It Dummy” with Zai1k and Tre Oh Fie. He also appeared in the official video for Lil Uzi Vert’s “Just Wanna Rock,” which reached a new high of No. 12 on the current Hot 100.
