Drake has hit a new milestone on Spotify and has received an unusual reaction to the streaming service. The Toronto-bred rapper revealed the news on his Instagram story after becoming the first artist in history to achieve 75 billion streams, along with a request for Spotify.

“We should earn bonuses like sportsmen to push future musicians to be consistent and competitive,” Champagne Papi said on Instagram. “so feel free to give me a Lebron sized cheque. “I have plenty of dinner plates.”

“F**k debating who the goat is/Bet not make the sh*t up ’bout the stats all I know,” Drake raps on “No Friends In The Industry,” and with each achievement, it may be his most accurate lines to date. The Grammy nominee spent the most of 2022 creating or breaking Billboard chart records.

With 184 million single sales as 2022 drew to an end, the Her Loss rapper became the highest-selling singles artist in the history of the Recording Industry Association of America. The awards awarded the 36-year-old rapper five diamond-certified recordings in total.

After a November 2022 release, the collaborative album Her Loss with 21 Savage achieved one billion listens on Spotify in December 2022. Drake now holds the record for the most albums with over one billion listens on Spotify.

The self-proclaimed “6 God” was named the most-shazamed musician of all time in August 2022, “with over 350 million shazams across tracks he’s led or appeared on.” Furthermore, his “One Dance” record has received over 17 million Shazams.
