Apple is reportedly preparing for a significant launch of new AirPods wireless earbuds, anticipated to be their most extensive release to date. According to tech journalist Mark Gurman, two variations of AirPods are slated for release in September or October. The highlight of this launch is a mid-range version of AirPods, accompanied by a more affordable option, offering users a range of choices based on their preferences and budget.

Both new iterations of AirPods feature redesigned designs compared to the current models, promising enhanced comfort during use. The budget-friendly version lacks active noise cancelation (ANC), while the mid-range version includes ANC to effectively block out ambient sounds.

Moreover, the mid-range AirPods will include a “Find My” speaker integrated into the charging case, facilitating easier location of lost earbuds. Apple is projected to manufacture approximately 20 to 25 million new AirPods units this year, reflecting its confidence in the market’s potential.

Beyond these new AirPods models, Gurman has also disclosed details about future AirPods products. The latest AirPods Pro generation will incorporate features aimed at assisting users with hearing impairments. Additionally, Apple is reportedly developing AirPods equipped with low-resolution cameras to scan surroundings and offer AI-based assistance.

Through expanding its AirPods lineup and introducing innovative technologies, Apple seeks to maintain its dominance in the wireless earbuds market while addressing the diverse needs of its users.
