MTN Group Limited (previously M-Cell), a South African multinational mobile telecommunications carrier, recently announced a change to its recharge activation code from the customary *555*rechargepin# to *311*rechargepin#.
The headquarters of the telecommunications firm, which operates in numerous African and Asian nations, are in Johannesburg.
It had 280 million users in December 2020, ranking it as the eighth-largest mobile network operator globally and the biggest in Africa.
The corporation, which operates in more than 20 nations, generates one-third of its income in Nigeria, where it has a market share of roughly 35%.
It says in the statement:.
“Dear Customer, I’m writing to let you know that our recharge activation code has changed. Instead of utilizing *555*rechargepin#, you can now recharge your lines by dialing *311*rechargepin#.For your convenience, we urge you to start utilizing the updated code. We appreciate you selecting MTN.
