Showmax Announce A New TV Series, The Real Housewives of Abuja: Meet the Housewives

The Real Housewives of Abuja will have Arafa, Comfort Booth, OJ Posharella, Princess Jecoco, Samantha Homossany, and Tutupie as its cast members.

Fans of the adored Real Housewives franchise will visit Abuja, a metropolis of wealth and power, according to Showmax. The Real Housewives of Abuja (RHOAbuja) is the ninth African adaptation of the popular format, and it is scheduled to debut on Showmax on February 17, 2023, with new episodes airing every Friday.

The new show will chronicle the opulent lifestyles of six powerful and prosperous women in Abuja. Arafa, Comfort Booth, OJ Posharella, Princess Jecoco, Samantha Homossany, and Tutupie are among the women as they manage their affluent relationships, families, businesses, and lives in the influential city of Abuja and elsewhere.

Arafa is an artist-entrepreneur, Selaralifestyle’s founder, and its creative director. She has wonderful twins and is married.

Lawyer Comfort Booth also blogs about travel and social issues and hosts talk shows. At Asia Ahmed and Co., she is a partner.

Entrepreneur Ojoma Sule, popularly known by his stage name OJ Posharella, serves as the group’s CEO. The Posharella Life Foundation, an NGO with the goal of improving life, society, and the planet, was founded by her as well.

In addition to practicing law, Princess Jecoco also works as a hotelier, influencer, and brand ambassador. She currently holds the position of managing director for the Sefcon hotel chain. She is married and the mother of two lovely, active children.

Entrepreneur in the wellness industry and Zohi Taglit’s creative director, Samantha Homossany. She is really passionate about style, fashion, and art. She has four children and is married to an Israeli millionaire who lives in Abuja.

Chef and event curator Tutupie has formal training and certification. She oversees Urban Day Party’s creative direction.

The women will provide viewers with an exclusive look into their glamorous and opulent lifestyles. The new series, which is set in an influential metropolis like Abuja, promises to amuse viewers by displaying the trendiest and most fascinating social situations throughout the city and giving viewers unparalleled access to the ultra-rich.

The Real Housewives of Abuja is the second installment of the acclaimed franchise in Nigeria and the format’s 21st international iteration.

The Real Housewives of Lagos, which broke the Showmax first-day streaming record in Nigeria and ranked among the top 10 most streamed shows on Showmax in Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, and South Africa in 2022, served as a springboard for the success of RHOAbuja. The franchise’s locations in Johannesburg, Durban, and Dubai are all housed at Showmax.

From February 17, 2023, RHOAbuja, which is produced by Delmedia Productions, will be exclusively available on Showmax in more than 40 African nations. New episodes will air every Friday.
